When to follow 1-on-1 tutoring?
At GMAT Amsterdam, we offer a variety of courses and assistance with your preparation for the GMAT. One of the ways in which we can help you is by 1-on-1 tutoring. In this week’s blog, we will explain to you in which situations you could consider following 1-on-1 tutoring.
When you aim for a higher score
If your aim is to admit to an MBA programme, you might want to reach the highest score as possible. Because, in contrary to master’s, some MBA programmes require a GMAT score of at least 630. Since the GMAT score is not the only thing they take into account, obtaining a higher score improves your chances of getting in. Since this is the case, you might want to improve fast after a period of self-study. The perfect way to do so is under the supervision of an experienced tutor who can help you with your specific needs.
When you are already well prepared
Some students are already well prepared and are approaching the date of their GMAT exam. They have put in a lot of study hours and they simply need to dot the I’s and cross the t’s. In this case, our experienced tutors can help them by providing tips and tricks on recognizing and solving GMAT problems. Following 1-on-1 tutoring during this phase of your preparation will also increase your level of confidence when taking the GMAT.
In addition to a course
Following Verbal- and Quantitative Course of GMAT Amsterdam is a great way to get familiar with all the subjects of which these sections consist. In addition to that, you will practice questions extensively. But, some students still have difficulties with specific subjects after finishing those courses. By practicing with questions they can improve a lot, but for those students, 1-on-1 tutoring can be the solution.
