APPLYING FOR THE CEMS MASTER IN INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT AT PRAGUE UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS (VŠE), CZECH REPUBLIC

Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), founded in 1953, has around 14,000 students and is the largest public university in the field of economics and business in the Czech Republic. The Faculty of Business Administration is one of six faculties of the Prague University of Economics and Business and it is located in the center of Prague. It is the only faculty in the Czech Republic to hold the prestigious international EQUIS accreditation, making it rank among the top 1% of the best business schools in the world. The university has its own sports facilities and International student organizations are present as well. If you do not come from Prague, there are almost 4,000 beds available at the university’s dormitory facilities.

The CEMS Master in International Management at VŠE

CEMS is a global alliance of the world's top business schools, which together offer the acclaimed CEMS Master in International Management program. The goal of the program is to help you gain the skills and insights needed for a successful career in international business and management. In 2022, VŠE's CEMS Master in International Management reached the top 25 of the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking. In addition, VŠE received the award for best CEMS School of the Year 2021/22 and also won the Global Strategy Course of the Year. The CEMS Master in International Management at VŠE is a 2 year postgraduate masters programme, rewarding you at the end with two degrees: the Master in Management from Prague University of Economics and Business and the CEMS Master’s degree in International Management.

Admission process

First it is important to note that it is only possible to start your studies in the Fall Semester (September). The admission procedure consists of 2 intakes. The deadline for the first registration is February 28, and the deadline for the second registration is April 30, depending on available spots. Be aware that only a maximum of 55 students can be accepted during the 1st and 2nd intake combined.

During the admission process you have to send your motivation and deliver all the necessary documents including proof of English and 2nd language proficiency and evidence of work and international experience by the required deadline. Required GMAT score 

As far as we know, no GMAT is required for application to the CEMS Master in International Management at SVE. However, the GMAT is described on their admissions page as a relevant supporting material. Therefore, we recommend adding it upon application if you want to strengthen your application. The minimum score must be 600.
